I might wear it in the winter, but it would probably be too humid to wear it in the summer in Florida.
Posted by: Tia on April 10, 2008 07:57 PMHmm, that's a hard decision. Luckily it doesn't rain much here in southern California, but... I'm still thinking about whether I'd go out wearing that. It *is* a pain to juggle an umbrella plus purse and keys. My usual solution is the mad dash for the car (bad choice if I happened to park a block away).
On a related note, cars should really come with an umbrella holder somewhere inside. Seriously.

I can't rtell you how many times I have stepped on my wife's umbrella, and since she insists on it being blue, each time after I break it we end up scouring the world for a good umbrella that is blue (not that off the rack stuff at Wal-Mart, those things are like holding paper over your head in the rain.)
An umbrella holder in cars would be a good idea (but what size should they be?)
