I always knew being an Ottinger was cool.

So apparently my genealogy traces back to a different spellling of my surname (Oettinger). Then, lo and behold, I find out that the original spelling leads me to the 4th most popular German beer producer. That's right, in Germany, you can find it in supermarkets, bars, and the corner store.

PROSIT! (German toast)

SLAINTE! (Irish toast for the Scots-Irish on Grandma Ottinger's side, its only fair right?)
