Hey Otter... I took the linguistic profile, and ended up 65% general American, 25% yankee, and 10% upper midwestern.

John looks down his nose at my midwestern roots, but I guess I am "more English" than he is, or at least I use it more correctly. Or both.

My results:

80% General American English
10% Upper Midwestern
5% Midwestern
5% Yankee
0% Dixie

Comparing our responses to this survey, it's a wonder we ended up together. We practically speak two different languages (which John contends at times). Ah, l'amour.

oh yeah, all married couples speak two different languages, most of the time. After almost 3 years though, I'm getting better at translation occasionally :)

I'm off to take my quiz, wonder what mix I'll be?
